The History of Phantom Jet Boats

Lewiston, Idaho is considered by many the "Jet Boat Capital Of The World".

For many years boat builders have fashioned their creations to challenge

Hells Canyon and other white water rivers of the northwest.

We are proud of our heritage in this industry, learning our craft from our early

Weldcraft days. Norm Riddle who started Weldcraft is one of the most

recognized names in the industry. Folks around the valley affectionately

refer to Norm as "The Old Man of The River". For all we learned under his

direction we say..... Thank You, Norm.

While we have built boats that have been delivered around the world, Alaska has been

our bread and butter. Like this custom built Alaskan Sportsman we have given our all to

provide each customer with a boat that delivers all their needs, and exceeds their

expectations. We have many friends in Alaska today because of this.

People usually know just what they want in their boat,

and we try to give it to them.

There is little in life that makes us happier then SMILES!

About a dozen years ago we started building

a more functional utility boat that would work

well in shallow water.

At the start it had many configurations and sizes. Our intention was always

to build a boat that would get the job done.
